My concerns for our world as a dwindling natural place coupled with my interest in the collective human experience, serve as the foundation for my life and work.

I build images, two and three dimensionally, to trigger visceral sensations and provoke emotional responses. I make art out of a tangible necessity, a need stemming from a vulnerable core. If I can touch the viewer on a level that encourages compassion, tolerance or inspires affinity with something outside the individual, I feel that I have added a foothold to the upward climb. Gandhi said we must be the change we wish to see in the world.
